Server Testing Lab

Our server testing lab allows us to develop and validate CoreCooling solutions directly in real server and rack environments. From cold-water to warm-water operation, we can test complete cooling concepts under realistic workloads using current compute and storage hardware.

In-house AI benchmarking and electrical measurement equipment enable us to evaluate thermal performance, hardware performance, power consumption and wall-plug efficiency under defined operating conditions.

COATING & THERMAL INTERFACE TECHNOLOGIES

Through the XCCES technology platform, CoreCooling has access to advanced PVD and sputter coating processes for thermal management applications. Functional coatings can be applied to cold plates, heat sinks, semiconductor surfaces and electronic components to create optimized thermal interfaces or enable advanced joining concepts.

This allows us to tailor surface properties and thermal interfaces to the specific material combination and application — reducing thermal resistance and supporting highly integrated cooling solutions.

thermal performance testing

We combine real thermal characterization with simulation to develop cooling structures around the actual heat distribution of a component. Using our NANOTEST platform, thermal imaging, controlled heat loads and dedicated cooling test benches, we can analyze how heat is generated and distributed across chips and assemblies.

These measurements are combined with thermal simulation and engineering expertise to optimize flow paths, cooling geometries and impingement concepts for the specific application.

3D PRINTING & RAPID PROTOTYPING

Our in-house rapid prototyping capabilities allow us to turn cooling concepts into physical test parts within short development cycles. We use 3D printing to evaluate geometries, flow concepts, housings, fixtures and integration solutions before moving into final manufacturing.

This enables fast design iterations, reduces development time and helps us validate mechanical fit and cooling concepts early in the engineering process.

LONG-TERM & STRESS TESTING

Cooling solutions are validated beyond initial thermal performance. We use long-term and stress testing to evaluate mechanical stability, thermal reliability and durability under repeated load cycles and demanding operating conditions.

This helps us identify potential failure modes early and ensures that materials, interfaces and cooling assemblies remain reliable throughout extended operation.
